ANT+ facilitates the collection, automatic transfer and tracking of sensor data for monitoring information anywhere, anytime. ANT+ has device profiles that specify data formats, channel parameters and the network key. Target applications include any wireless sensor monitoring of sport, wellness or home health such as:

Success of ANT+Sport Prompts ANT+ Branding
The ultra-low power wireless networking sector is exploding! ANT’s initial success in sports monitoring products has multiplied with the ANT+Sport managed network’s interoperability and new array of advanced functionality.
Based on this strong adoption of ANT+Sport, we have experienced a natural demand for these personal area networks in the vast wellness and home health monitoring markets. In response, we are strategically transitioning from ANT+Sport to ANT+, a backward compatible superset, to pave the way for growth of the ANT+ interoperable ecosystem into other vertical markets . By this strategic extension of the sport managed network to a single ANT+ brand, your own product reach also expands to support the explosive consumer health and home applications.
There is not an immediate requirement for those already in production with ANT+Sport branded products to abruptly implement changes to product labeling and packaging. We do however request that going forward and as appropriate to you, all new products use ANT+ branding. The ANT+Sport logo will in time be replaced with the ANT+ logo, maintaining the same critical branding elements and footprint. Through this transition period, we will continue to strongly support the sport market while building upon proven opportunities in the wellness and home monitoring sectors.
