Chosen for Success

Many dynamic companies have selected the ANT protocol and the interoperability of ANT+ to drive their product development and market growth. When quick product development and timely release translates into market share, ANT is a production-proven option that provides a clear advantage.

Hear what ANT customers have to say:

TIM GIPSON, DIRECTOR, DIGITAL SYSTEMS MIDÉ TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION, MEDFORD, MA.

“We selected the ANT™ RF technology for our self-powering Train Brake Health Monitoring System. Unlike ZigBee, the ANT-based solution allows direct connections between low powered end devices, without router or coordinator devices in between, at extremely low levels of power consumption. On our Volture™ energy scavenger power budget, ANT allowed our design space to go from standalone data loggers to a persistently networked, collaborative sensor mesh supporting up to over 65,000 nodes.”

CLIFF PEMBLE, VICE-PRESIDENT, ENGINEERING, GARMIN INTERNATIONAL INC. March 2007

“ANT™ has proven to be a reliable and robust network solution for Garmin since 2005. Based on our success with ANT’s low power, ease of integration, and assured schedules in our sport division, we are now strategically incorporating ANT into a wide variety of Garmin products including those designed for automotive, marine, and outdoor use.”

THOMAS EMBLA BONNERUD, PRODUCT MANAGER-STANDARD COMPONENTS, NORDIC SEMICONDUCTOR

“Designers have been quick to recognize that the protocol is the critical component ensuring their wireless sensor network solution is fast to market, on budget, and operates reliably within exacting power constraints. But finding a proven solution has been much harder. Now the search is over; ANT™, as part of the nRF24AP1, does all this – easily.”

World Leading Silicon Providers

ANT is pleased to work with various world leading silicon providers:

Nordic Semiconductor – provides world leading 2.4 GHz, ultra low power wireless radio chips. Nordic is a long time partner of ANT Wireless. Together, we released the nRF24AP1 (AP1) to market in 2006. The AP2 family of products will be released to the global market in 2009.

Texas Instruments – provides world leading ultra low power microcontrollers (MCUs). ANT Wireless makes use of the MSP430 series of MCUs in its AT3 modules and chip sets. ANT Wireless customers use of the MSP430 MCUs in their sensor products.

Epson – is the world leader in ultra low power display drivers for portable electronics. ANT Wireless customers utilize Epson integrated display driver chips in their mobile display products.
