I've tried a few versions of Simulant and didn't see an option, but wanted to see if I was missing it.

        Hi,
I want to set the maximum resistance of my bike trainer via data page 54 (0x36) known as FE-Capabilities.
To get familiar, I decided to use SimulANT tool, and set the maximum resistance by (bike trainer FE-C) device profile. (See attached picture).

The problem I have is that setting different maximum resistance is not affecting the bike trainer.
To test it, I set at first a 40% of maximum resistance via the basic resistance (data page 48 (0x30)), and then I changed the maximum resistance from 1 to 10000 and there is no feeling of change in the resistance.

Do you have any idea how this work,
Thanks for any guide,
Meysam.

        Hi,
I'm testing my implementation handling geocaches. SimulANT fails to load the python script so I can test authentication. I get the following error -
Also, the simulator receives my request but no response is transmitted.
Any help appreciated. Best regards.

        Hi,

I feel quite blonde but I downloaded Simulant+ from:
https://www.thisisant.com/resources/simulant-1/

Unzipped it and run Simulant+.exe, however it directly throws an error (see attached image). Which is a bit non-descriptive as it seems to access something I am not allowed to access. However, even running it as administrator does not resolve the issue.

Is something broken in this version?

Semi-unrelated question (not there to test it myself yet as the basics already do not function):
Is it possible to just get a list of broadcasting ant+ signals (power meter, cadence, heart rate, etc.) or does it need to be looked up by type separately?

Thanks!
Hello!
Must be stupid because I can't find any info in the docs about how to add sensors. All I get is the screen attached with this post.
There are only three buttons visible: Refresh, Turn On, Turn Off.

Nothing happens when I click on any of them.

Dear all,

I put you in the situation, hoping that someone knows a similar case and can help me.

I am developing a project where it is intended to transmit the sensor data of an electric bike (cadence, power and speed) using the ANT + protocol and then use indoor training simulators (for example Zwift).

These sensors are connected by an ASI controller (Electric Motor Controllers | Accelerated Systems Inc.) and we know how to gather the necessary data through the controller. It is intended to use an Arduino board to create a message in the ANT + protocol and transmit it via bluetooth.

At this point, I would like to ask you if you know of a similar case where someone intends to transmit data from bicycle sensors using the ANT + protocol. If you can help me, I would need to know what structure a complete ANT + message has. I have reviewed the profile of the sensors, but these are a bit complex to understand and I can't quite understand the array of bits that has to be transmitted and what each bit means. If anyone could help me understand this protocol structured by Data Pages, I would be forever grateful.

I have SimulANT + and two USBs, with which I have tried to figure out how a message is structured, but to no avail.

Thank you very much in advance, I hope someone has knowledge to help me a bit.

Greetings,

Aba
