Hello,

I am trying to connect my Body Scale (SmartLab fit w) with your Android examples (my testing device is Samsung S5 which is compatible with the ANT+). I can retrieve the weight but I cannot do the same when I "Request Advanced Measurement". I mean that I cannot retrieve data about the body fat amount, water, muscle mass, bone mass...

Can you help me about this? Is this problem related to the "Body Scale"?

PS: If you need more details please let me know!

Best Regards,
Hello,
i'm the developer of the ConnectIQ App BC-1000, a Tanita Weight Scale App.
My app is missing some features which are available on other watches (e.g. FR60).
Can you give me a contact who can provide me with the ANT+ format of the body composition data?
Since this information is owned by Garmin i'm asking here.
It would be a great enhancement for ConnectIQ users.
Hello All,
I have a Tanita HD-351ANT Scale. It came with a software called "Healthy Edge Lite". I installed the software and initially I had to configure it to connect to the scale and it works fine. When I click the "New Measurement" from the app, the light blinks on the Scale and I can stand on the scale and the weight shows up on the application.

Now I have a requirement to create a web application in ASP.NET to connect to Tanita HD-351ANT Scale and get the measurements. Basically I should to be able to do the same thing that I was doing from the "Healthy Edge Lite" app.
I have downloaded the "ANT Windows Library Package with source code". I am not sure what to configure in the code to communicate with the Scale. Do I need to do something on the "ANT_Libraries" or the "ANT_NET_Libraries"

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
On Darwin (Max OS X 10.7.4), I am using a "Garmin USB ANT stick" through libusb-1.0 to communicate with a "BC-1000 ANT+ Radio Wireless Body Composition Monitor".

The USB parts (init, find, open, claim) are working, I can send and receive ANT messages.

I am following the ANT-UserGuide.pdf and ANT_Weight_Scale_Device_Profile.pdf documentations.

The problem is that the scale is not turning on after I send the user profile, and quickly after the channel close itself.
* fyi: this scale do not have a power button, it power up automagically when a button is pressed on a watch (the light button on a Garmin Forerunner 210) or on the Tanita Display.

There must be something I did wrong?

Please find below a log of an ANT session.

EDIT:

I tried sending data with broadcast(0x4E) and acknowledged(0x4F) too.
I tried with transmission type to 0x05 too.
Sometime, I randomly got a page 80 or a page 81 instead of a page 1.
But every time with the same outcome: RX_FAIL and CHANNEL_CLOSED
