Post Symposium Update from the ANT+ Team
Thank you for another amazing Symposium with ANT+. Together we surpassed our goal of advancing the alliance. Our Technical Working Group (TWG) sessions for Bike Power and Heart Rate Device Profiles were a huge success, generating a lot of excitement and optimism for advancing ANT+ capabilities. For instance, the Bike Power TWG is already hard at work on a new project. Currently we’re organizing all of your feedback and requests (yay!) to roadmap ANT+ Alliance efforts in the months ahead.
As promised, we are making an official call for participation for the Fitness Equipment TWG: if you work with fitness equipment, control or display devices and would like to contribute to the TWG, please contact [email protected] for more information.

ANT+ FE-C Device Profile Support Available in New Smart Bike Trainers from Cycleops
We’re pleased to announce ANT+ support in CycleOps’s Hammer (wheel-off) and Magnus (wheel-on) smart bike trainers making them compatible with ANT+ FE-C enabled bike computers, virtual training apps and simulator software. By utilizing the ANT+ FE-C (Fitness Equipment Control) device profile, the trainers can offer cyclists a wide variety of simulation and control options with interoperable software and devices, for a richer, more immersive indoor training experience.

NEW AND UPDATED DEVICE PROFILES

NEW: ANT+ Tracker Profile
Released October 19th, 2016
The ANT+ Tracker Device Profile Rev 1.0 is now available to all ANT+ Members and Adopters on the downloads page. This new device profile defines interoperable wireless communication between an asset tracker device, which tracks the location and status of a group of distributed assets, and a compatible display device. New profile allows IoT developers to enhance end-user experiences for tracking technologies.

UPDATE: ANT+ Bike Power Profile
Released November 15th, 2016
Revision 5.0 of the ANT+ Bike Power Profile has been released and is now available to ANT+ Adopters and Members on the downloads page. Included in this revision is the new Advanced Capabilities subpage which allows for higher data rate as well as capability reporting by power sensors. The profile is also marked-up to highlight certification requirements.

SimulANT+ 2.0. is now available to all ANT+ Members and Adopters on the downloads page. New Features Include, ANT+ Device Profile Verification Test Suite (for HRM, PWR, FE-C, CAD, SPD, BS&C, MO2, SHFT, and TRK), optional file logging, optimizations for long running tests.
FITSDK 20.16.00 Update – Nov 2, 2016
Version 20.16.00 of the FIT SDK is now available on the downloads page. Includes various bug fixes and improvements, full release notes are available here
SoftDevice Specification v2.0 Update – Nov 1, 2016
The latest SoftDevice Specification (SDS v2.0) is now available for the S212 and S332 software protocol stacks. These releases support the latest release of the S212 and S332 stacks including all new features supported by these stacks.
ANT+ Device Profiles Updated with Certification in Mind – Oct 03, 2016
Updated ANT+ Heart Rate, Bike Power, Fitness Equipment, Bike Speed & Cadence, MuscleOxygen, Shifting, and Tracker Device Profiles are now available to all ANT+ Members on the Member Early Release section of the downloads page. These releases annotate certification requirements directly in the profile document providing a simpler process for testing your ANT+ product.

The ANT+ Common Pages document version 3.0 is now available to all ANT+ Adopters onthe downloads page.
S212 and S332 ANT Protocol Stacks v2.0.0 Update – Sep 14, 2016
The latest production revisions of the ANT protocol stacks are now available for licensing and
download at www.thisisant.com on the nRF52832’s SoftDevices tab. The latest 2.0 versions
of the S212 ANT SoftDevice and the S332 ANT/BLE SoftDevice are compatible with the
production release of the Nordic NRF5 SDK v12.0.0 and v12.1.0 and can be used with the
Nordic nRF52 Development Kit (PCA10040) and the Dynastream D52 Starter
Kit (D52DK1).
