ANT – a Protocol and Silicon Solution
ANT™ is a proven wireless sensor network protocol and silicon solution for ultra-low power networking applications in sport, wellness, home and industrial automation. With an installed base of over a million nodes, ANT is engineered for ultra-low power, low system cost, ease of use, scalability and flexibility that enables sensors to operate for up to three years on a coin cell battery. The ANT protocol handles peer-to-peer, star, tree and practical mesh topologies.
ANT Features at a Glance

Chips and chipsets
ANT is available in compact single-chip network processor format with integrated 2.4GHz RF transceiver and embedded ANT protocol. These include the nRF24AP2 family and nRF24AP1 by Nordic Semiconductor and the CC257x family by Texas Instruments. ANT is also available in multi-protocol chips such as CC2567 and WiLink1271/1273 by Texas Instruments, coexisting with other protocols such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
An ANT chipset is composed of an ANT MCU and a radio chip, which provides options and flexibilities to your application's specific needs, in terms of functionality, network complexity and scalability. The AT3 family of chipsets is equipped with the SensRcore application development platform that greatly eases wireless sensors design.
