Delegates are responsible for all travel arrangements. 


ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE DATES

To participate in the full Symposium program options, we recommend: 

ARRIVAL:  Late Monday, Sept 28 or early Tuesday, September 29
DEPARTURE: Friday, Oct 2 (late afternoon if participating in Friday's optional sessions)

IMPORTANT:  Allow 90 minutes driving time between the airport and conference hotel when booking flights.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION

Delta Lodge at Kananaskis:  Nestled in the majestic Canadian Rockies at an elevation of 1,522 meters (5,000ft), the ANT+ Symposium is held at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis.  This premium venue offers a true combination of world-class, year round activities with distinguished comfort and hospitality.

Hotel Reservation Deadline is September 4.  Book early for guaranteed conference rates & availability. After this date, reservations are subject to general rates and availability. This is a busy hotel, and the nearest alternate hotel is 20 miles away. We strongly recommend that you book a room even if your attendance is tentative. The hotel's 72 hour cancellation policy provides plenty of time to adjust your reservation if required.  


AIRPORT INFORMATION

The airport is the Calgary International Airport (YYC).  Allow 90 minutes driving time between the airport and conference hotel when booking flights.

AIRPORT HOTELS

If you require an overnight stay at the Calgary Airport for any portion of your trip, the Delta Calgary Airport Hotel is located on site, and there are a number of other Airport Area Hotels available.


GROUND TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

The following options are available to get from the airport to the conference hotel:

  • Rental Cars - The most flexible option for you.  There are a number of car rental companies are located at the Car Rental Centre at the Calgary Airport, on the departures level across the roadway from the main terminal. 
  • Airport Taxis & Sedans - Round the clock taxi service is available at the airport.  Taxi stands are located on the Arrivals Level.  Premium on-demand sedans are also available adjacent to the taxi stands.  For rates and additional information, visit Airport Taxis & Sedans
  • Airport Limousines - A number of Limousine Services are also available.  Please contact the provider directly for reservations.  Visit Airport Limousines for details.
  • Shuttle Service - Brewster Bus Airport Shuttles provides shuttle services to the area.  Please note that the bus does not go directly to the hotel, but a transfer is made en route to the Delta Lodge Van (guest must inform the hotel so the transfer shuttle is confirmed).  Shuttle times are limited and advanced reservations are required.  Booking information is located here.

CANADIAN CUSTOMS & IMMIGRATION

If travelling from abroad, please review the document requirements for business travellers arriving in Canada.  An invitation letter is recommended, so we suggest that you print your invitation email and bring a copy with you.  If you did not receive an invitation email, an invitation letter will be provided on request.  It is also recommended that you indicate that you are visiting Canada to attend a Business Conference to minimize any issues.


DRESS CODE

Casual dress is recommended.  The Symposium program includes evening outdoor activities.  A warm jacket and outdoor shoes are highly recommended.

Late September seasonal daily averages in Kananaskis include daily highs of 15°C/59°F and lows of 0°C/32°F.  Check the weather forecast before you depart for details.


TOURIST INFORMATION

The Symposium is held in the Alberta Rocky Mountains just 90 minutes west of the Calgary Airport and 20 minutes east of Banff, AB. Featuring cycling and running trails, trail riding, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, river rafting, mountain climbing and much more, this retreat-like area is ideal for pre or post conference touring.
