Latest Production release of S212 and S332 ANT Protocol Stacks v4.0.2 now available

The latest production revisions of the ANT capable protocol stacks are now available for licensing and download at www.thisisant.com on the nRF52832’s SoftDevices tab. The latest 4.0.2 revisions of the S212 ANT SoftDevice and the S332 ANT/BLE SoftDevice are compatible with the Nordic NRF5 SDK v13.0.0 and can be used with the nRF52 Development Kit (PCA10040) and the Dynastream D52 Starter Kit. Sample S332 examples are available for download on www.thisisant.com software downloads tab.

The revision 4.0.2 SoftDevices include numerous functional enhancements for the ANT and BLE protocol stacks. An option to specify a channel offset when opening an ANT channel has been added to give developers better control of performance in multi-master applications. The option to use 3 byte CRC’s has been added to improve performance in noisy environments. Other ANT enhancements include channel optimizations that allow for faster channel periods and multi-channel performance. BLE now supports up to 20 links. Each can perform any role allowing for multiple peripherals on the same device. The ability to configure the ATT_MTU size on a per link basis is now supported.
