What does CORE do? 

CORE is the first wearable sensor that accurately monitors core body temperature continuously and non-invasively. Athletes can rely on real-time monitoring of core body temperature and recording to the FIT file for analysis.

Core body temperature is a vital metric and for sports, when you get hot, your power output then starts to drop. With core body temperature monitoring, athletes can train and condition their body to become more efficient at cooling and to increase power output.

The ability to monitor core body temperature in real-time and analyse the data provides more insights and control over your performance. The data can used by athletes to avoid heat-stress, to undertake heat training and heat adaption and to identify the most effective cooling strategies.

Beyond sports, core body temperature naturally fluctuates during the day with the circadian rhythm and changes in the temperature can signify illness as well as ovulation in women.
