This datafield connects to an external Tempe sensor, displays the current temperature, saves a temperature graph and the average temperature during the session to the activity FIT. The graph and the average temperature can be seen on Garmin Connect.
Preferred temperature format can be selected and recordings can also be enabled/disabled in the datafield settings.

The main purpose of the datafield is providing Tempe connectivity which is not supported natively on the Edge series.
