Which online tracker or app actually shows a phone’s live location using only the number? I’ve tried several sites but most seem fake or outdated. What’s the most reliable option?      

No legitimate service will show a phone’s live location from just a number without the owner’s consent or a court order. Sites promising instant pin-point tracking by number are usually scams. Use built-in consent tools (Apple Find My, Google Family Link), carrier assistance through legal process, or install consent-based family apps like Life360. For threats contact police. A lot of these services advertise “live location with just a phone number” but that’s usually too good to be true. Most legitimate tools can only give you broad info (like approximate area or carrier details) unless the phone itself has sharing enabled.      

Honestly I have asked myself the same question about phone location services, because most trackers online promise live location with just a number but rarely work as advertised. For basic info I have used simple tools that let you GEOfinder find my lost phone style lookups to get public context about a device or last known details, though real time tracking usually needs the phones own settings and consent.
