Not everyone in marketing has design skills, and I’m definitely one of those people. I know my way around numbers, but when it comes to making a report “look good,” I feel completely lost. Last time I tried to design a slide deck, it looked like something from the 90s. Do you guys know ways to make reports look professional without having to learn design?

I always thought it was funny how even small design touches can change perception. For example, I once made a report with plain black text, then the same report with a few colors and spacing tweaks. Everyone preferred the second version even though the content was identical. It shows how much people respond to visuals, even unconsciously.
