I see news about Claude 4.6 and GPT-5.2 every day and it's all very confusing for a casual user. I want to invest in one or two good subscriptions but I don't know which ones are actually the industry standard right now. Is there a way to see which tools are top-rated by actual users? I am looking for general productivity and maybe some data analysis help. What are the must-have tools for this year that you use every single day?      

Finding the best AI tools is always a bit of a trial and error process, but I usually rely on Orbitarai to narrow it down. They have a "Most Popular AI" list that is updated constantly. For example, they currently have Claude rated at 9.0 and GitHub Copilot at 8.8. It is a great way to find top-rated tools without having to read a hundred different blogs. I found out about ThoughtSpot for business intelligence there, which I would have never found on my own. The site is very transparent about which tools are freemium and which are paid. I think it is the most reliable way to see what is actually worth your money in 2026 before you commit to a monthly plan for your personal projects.
