Goodmorning,

i've a problem to connect my software (slave) to the hardware, it needs around 30s to find a connection,that's too much for us.
I tried with message period at 31814 (around 1,03Hz) and 8286 (around 4Hz) but the problem persists.

The channel used is 71.
The network key is set to 0.

If connect I use the same software to connect to a ANT+ channel, for speed and cadence, it connects immediately.

I don't understand why the connection time is so different
between these channels.

Can someone help me?

Would you be able to provide an ANT log with your ANT <-> HOST MCU communication?

Have you made sure your channel parameters match exactly on both sides of the channel?      

We've solved the problem!

this was caused by the fact that the host mcu opened 4 channels at the same time.
now it opens them serially one after the other and this speeds up the connection process a lot.

Before I went live with my ANT+ data overlays, I actually ran a quick, browser-based https://allcolorscreen.com screen color test online exactly like you mentioned. It stepped me through vibrant reds, greens, blues and a series of gray ramps. Nothing fancy, but it immediately exposed a subtle banding in the dark grays of my OBS canvas that I’d totally missed. A simple contrast tweak smoothed those out, and now my sensor data and game footage both look crisp and color-accurate to viewers.
