Lately, my teenage son has been spending many hours on his phone. He gets defensive as soon as I ask him what he's doing. I'm worried about the apps he's using and who he's talking to. I've tried talking to him casually, but I haven't gotten anywhere. Has anyone found a way to understand a child's phone behavior without invading their privacy?      

We went through something similar at home, and direct communication didn't work either. What helped me was changing my approach and focusing more on understanding routines than on controlling them. Personally, I see uMobix as an option for observing certain general patterns with consent, not for intrusion. From there, I was able to talk more calmly and show genuine interest in their digital world.
