I came across a note today from an old upgrade plan that mentioned
QSFP-40/100-SRBD, and it got me thinking. I never ended up working with that specific module myself, but I remember it being part of a discussion around mixed speed environments. Seeing it again made me wonder how it actually performs once it is running in a real setup.
If anyone here has deployed QSFP-40/100-SRBD, how did it behave for you? Was it stable under normal load or did it have any quirks that only showed up over time? Sometimes these modules work perfectly on paper and then develop their own personality once they are part of a live system.
Just wanted to hear any firsthand experiences.
