Loss of transmit function? USB1 receives but no longer transmits

I have a USB1 stick that I had been using for some time as a receiver for a sensor. Recently, I had trouble with communication, sensor didn't seem to be receiving acks to AckMsg's sent to stick, and sending AckMsg from stick to sensor would always fail. Assumed it was my sensor at fault. Turned out to be the stick. Careful testing, including trying to work with 2nd USB1, showed that the bad stick would receive but would not transmit so Acks weren't getting transmitted back to sensor nor were messages being sent from the stick.

So how might this have occurred? Could I have inadvertently turned off the xmit function or is it possible to damage the xmit and still keep receive function?

Thanks!

Hi Neil,

It is possible to configure receive-only channels on the AP2, but this would only apply for as long as the channel is assigned, and would only involve that specific channel. It is not possible to turn off the transmit function on the USB1 stick (AP1 based). I suspect the USB stick is damaged (e.g. ESD).
