Hello everyone.
I’ve been thinking about how I react when people try to point out my mistakes. In conversations or work situations, I hate being corrected because it instantly makes me feel small or judged.
Even when someone intends to help, I get defensive or shut down. I know it’s not healthy, but it feels like an emotional trigger. Has anyone else struggled with this?
How do you train yourself to accept feedback without feeling attacked? I’d love to hear how others have learned to take corrections as opportunities to grow instead of personal criticism.
