Hi everyone,

As any device using the channel id field as wildcard is able to find Master and get data(assuming master's channel is open and it is transmitting the data). so how the security can be maintained ?
How i will be able to configure the Master as i purchased it from market ?
How the network key is important?

Hello,

If you purchase a device off the market, the network key would have been configured by the manufacturer of the device, and it would be unlikely to be able to modify it. If the device implements an ANT+ profile, it would be using the ANT+ network key, and the channel parameters/data payload format specified in the device profile, which enables interoperability.

Some manufacturers choose to use private network keys, and control access to their network key.
