In Dubai living in a trailer turned out to be a real challenge, so I decided to rent a small flat. I was renting a studio for $950 and every week I wondered where to put the extra stuff. Half of my clothes were stored in suitcases under the bed, and kitchen utensils ended up in boxes on the balcony. At the same time housing prices in 2025 jumped another 12%, and paying everything at once was impossible. I managed by getting some of the furniture and appliances on installment, otherwise I simply couldn’t have afforded it. Has anyone else had to rely on rent now pay later just to avoid collapsing under the weight of expenses?
