I was sorting through some older project notes today and found a reference to a QSFP-40G-SR4 module we planned to use a while back. It reminded me how often these things sit at the center of long nights of testing and tweaking, even though to someone else they probably look like just another piece of hardware.
I never ended up deploying that module myself, so now I am wondering how it behaves in real setups. If anyone here has worked with
QSFP-40G-SR4, how was your experience? Did it run smoothly under normal conditions, or were there small quirks that only appeared after some time?
Not looking for anything too technical, just interested in hearing how it worked out for others.
