Can Peekviewer let me view private stories that have already expired, and how does it maintain user anonymity?

Some work for a bit, then stop updating properly or miss certain changes. I tried one called recentfollow, it seemed to work decently at first, but it's still limited by Instagram’s privacy settings and restrictions. Plus, there’s always that question of how safe it is to log in or share account info.
