Since I'm the last of my friends to get married, there will be a lot of two-year-olds at my wedding. I'm debating whether and how to include coloring books at the reception. I'm thinking about tying the crayons with a ribbon or putting them in cute plastic bags. Knowing my friends, some of the adults will want to color too.
The only thing I'd say is about tablecloths... people will need a hard surface to color on.

This is a very thoughtful idea. The kids will definitely be busy, and frankly, you're right, the adults will probably join in too once the crayons are out. Tying them with ribbons or putting them in little bags will create a more festive and organized look, and they'll be easy for guests to grab.

If you'll have a lot of little guests at your wedding, coloring pages are a simple and fun way to keep them entertained. You can prepare coloring pages with different characters from https://wowcoloring2kids.com/wild-kratts-coloring-pages/ and place them in small bags with crayons or markers or tie them with ribbon. This will keep things neat and tidy. To make it easier for children to draw, it's best to use cardboard or small boards, as coloring on a tablecloth or table is difficult. And the best part is that sometimes adults join in, too, making this activity a fun activity for all guests.
