I’ve been playing tennis for a while, but I’m still a bit confused about the tennis tiebreaker. Can anyone explain how it works in different formats? I know that traditionally, a set goes to 6-6, and then a tiebreaker is played, but what are the specific rules and variations?

Are there different strategies that change when playing in a tiebreaker compared to a regular game? I’ve heard that the tiebreaker is one of the most intense parts of the game, so I’d love to get a deeper understanding of its mechanics and how to approach it.
