I’ve used a few different help authoring tools, but I still haven’t found the perfect fit. There’s always something missing—like, maybe it doesn’t support a certain format or the interface is clunky. Last year, I picked one just because it exported to PDF, but then it turned out to be a pain for team projects. What features do you all consider *must-haves* when choosing a help authoring tool?      

I like exploring new software just to see what it can do, so this is helpful info. It’s amazing how even small features can make a big difference when you’re working on docs all day. Curious what others would add to their must-have lists!
