I’ve been thinking about deleting my diesel truck but I’m not sure if it’s still worth it these days. I’ve heard people say it boosts horsepower, improves throttle response, and helps avoid costly repairs from emissions components. On the other hand, I’ve also seen people warn that it can cause long-term damage, void warranties, or even lead to legal issues depending on where you live.
For those who’ve actually gone through the process, how big of a difference did you notice in performance and fuel efficiency? Did your truck run better overall, or were the gains smaller than expected? Also, what about resale value, does a deleted truck become harder to sell? Where I can get information about
pros and cons of deleting a diesel truck? Can someone please guide?
I’m not looking for hype, just honest experiences from real owners. Are there any trusted places or forums where people discuss this topic in depth without all the misinformation?
So what do you think? With today’s diesel technology and emission systems, is deleting still a practical upgrade or more of a headache now?
