Is there a minimum EEPROM size? I couldn't find anything explicitly stating a minimum size, but according to the M95xxx EEPROM data sheets, devices that are < 8K bits require only 1 byte of addressing. ANTFS_InitEEPROMDevice() gives the option of specifying either 2 or 3 byte addressing (not 1 byte).      

The minimum EEPROM size is limited by the two byte addressing, that is, > 256 bytes (2048 bits).

However, an 8kbits EEPROM does require two byte addressing.
