We are trying to lower the supply voltage of our entire system. We would like to run ANT as low as= 1.9V. We seem to have problems with any VDD under 2.5V. I am guessing we are doing something wrong.

Are there any trade offs we should know about when running at 1.9V vs. the typical 3.0V?

When running ANT with a low supply voltage, any dip will make it fail. Running it at 1.9V is specially risky; you will need to be very careful to ensure your design is able to withstand voltage dips/sags.
