I read that it was possible to pair a Garmin HR monitor (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0029M3NSS/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00) directly to an ANT+ USB device (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UO9KSY/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01) without a Garmin watch. I cannot get it to work. Can the monitor be paired to the USB device directly? Thanks.

What software are you using on your computer to access the ANT+ USB device?

Using the ANT+ Display Simulator (found in the ANT+ Adopter Zone on the http://www.thisisant.com website) will allow you to easily read the output from the Garmin heart rate monitor on your PC.
