Speed data in remote database

Hello everyone,

I need to have real time speed data of my bike (with ANT sensor over a hometrainer) in a remote database from a web server.

Firstly I thought in NPE's WASP but it is only for OEMs and they don't sell to individuals. Secondly I thought about Tanita WiFi Radio Wireless Network Adapter (http://www.tanita.com/en/wifi2/) but it's too expensive. Do you know any low cost ANT to wifi bridge or similar?

If not, I'm afraid I will need to make a PC program using the ANT USB stick to recover data and send it to the database or the web server. Do you know any program to do that? Which demo program do you recommend me start with?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi!

We aren't aware of any other ANT-wifi bridges, but if anyone out there is developing one it would be great to know.

You could try collecting the ANT data on your phone, and uploading it from there. Info on getting a phone to connect with ANT is here: http://www.thisisant.com/developer/resources/tech-faq/category/ant-in-mobile-phones/

If you have a phone that can work, that's probably your easiest option.
