I am inquiring about the standardization of ANT+ and specific manufacturer's: I have a designed a stride sensor and can currently connect through wahoo key to wahoo iOS stride sensor application. I am curious why this device will not then be compatible with a garmin product?

If you designed the stride sensor to communicate according to the ANT+ device profile then it should work with any product that supports that profile (the list is here: http://www.thisisant.com/forum/search_results/81ad9cf116664807427ac4d5814afc58/) .

If you want to check that your sensor is performing correctly you could try running it through the 'ANT+ self verification tool' available on the downloads page. If it fails any tests that could give you an idea of where to look...

Which product are you working with and what issue are you seeing? (If you are able to say)

That is what I thought!

I will give the self verification a try, thank you!

The device is my design and works with the aforementioned setup, but not the Garmin forerunner 210!

OK, let me know how it goes. If it passes all the self verification tests and somehow doesn't work with the 210 then I'd want to know!
