The Android ANT+ bike apis are feature complete and in the final phases of testing. We should have public releases soon. If anybody is interested in beta testing the bike plugins please PM me.
The Android ANT+ apis and services, which we are calling the ANT+ plugins provide developers an easy way to access ANT+ devices without having to implement the ANT+ protocol. The ANT+ plugin service handles connecting to the device, interpreting data, sending commands, and managing the connection all through an easy to use high level api. This is especially useful for a profile such as bike power where the data can get fairly complex, especially trying to support multiple power source types; the ANT+ plugins solve these problems for you.
