Decoding Run Cadence

Hi,

I'm reading FIT files produced by a FR 620, and extracting the running dynamics fields.
GCT and Vertical Oscillation are nice and straight forward but running cadence seems to be encoded somehow and not an instantaneous value.

I cannot find the docs to explain how to decode it.

For field number 40 "Running Cadence" I am getting values like; 4875, 3250, 3600, 3625, 3650 for cadence values like 55,66,77,79,78 (I get those values via RunCadence values in the associated Tcx file when exporting from Garmin Connect).

Can anyone tell me how I get the instantaneous running cadence e.g. 79 from the value in the fit file e.g. 3625 ?

Many thanks for any help you can offer.

Hmmm. I have just read the profile.xls and realised that 40 is not run cadence.
However, run cadence is in field 53, but is always 64 for me !?

I have attached the file, it is from a 620.

I tried to download your attached file, but the download didn't start (both with Firefox and IE).
Must I have JS/Java/Active whatever enabled?
A glitch in the forum software?
Anyone else with similar issues?

Cheers,
