Hey folks,

during my development I wanted to calculate the battery lifetime for a HRM from Beurer. Using the online calculator I need more information to estimate the result. In the device profile I didn't find a specification if the device provides a 32kHz Clock Signal (EXT32K)? Where do I get this information from? It makes a difference in the battery lifetime of around factor 10!!!

Furthermore it was not specified which serial mode (async<->sync) should be used. Are there any advantages/disadvantages for a HRM?

Thanks for all info.

Hi Ben - the Beurer HRM does not use a standard ANT part. It uses a custom part with a Nordic Radio and MSP-430 that integrates the HRM algorithms and ANT protocol on a single chip. Hence the power calculator is not a very useful tool. To get more accurate numbers I suggest to contact Beurer directly.
