Is AP1 spend 3 sec transfer to search status

Dear Sir,

My setting is message rate=4Hz,search timeout=5 sec.
I found when receive 9 RX fail package AP1 will transfer to search status and 3 sec package is null then receive valid data.
So when happen 9 RX fail package will result approx. 8 sec data
loss.

Is AP1 spend 3sec transfer to search status(= 3sec null package)

Yes, the AP1 will drop to search after approximately 2 seconds of Rx Failsâ?¦ which is about 9 RX_FAILs at 8Hzâ?¦ then once you drop into a search your reacquisition time, for a 4Hz master, should be approximately 1 sec, worst case 3 seconds. Therefore you could expect around 3 to 5 seconds data loss.
If the AP1 drops into search, and then timesout, it will be approximately 8 seconds from first RX_FAIL until the channel is closed (i.e. 2 seconds RX_FAILs + 5 seconds of searching).
If you are consistently seeing a lot of RX_FAILs, investigate the RF performance of your device and/or the operating environment.
