Hi--

Is it possible to extract step counts from a .fit? I am not seeing any corresponding fields listed in the documentation, but perhaps I am searching for the wrong term. Is the data available? Thanks!

What type of .FIT file do you have? Monitoring or Activity?      

It is an Activity file. Please let me know. Thanks.      

If the device you are using supports writing a step count in Activity files it should be in the "total_strides" field of the Session message.
