Is there an ANT+ profile that provides generic messaging functionality that could allow a device to display a message on a connected display ? similar to how mobile text notifications can be displayed on a connected cycling computer.
Generic messaging functionality is not currently in an ANT+ profile. There is some support in the Controls profile for a phone use-case, but it has not been adopted. ANT+ members can request new profiles by emailing .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) with the New Device Profile Request Form filled out.
