Retrieving data from Powertap P1

Hi,

I am trying to receive the data from my Powertap P1 pedals (https://www.powertap.com/Uploads/PDF/PowerTap-Manuals/powertap-quick-start-guide-p1-pedals.pdf), using the Dynastream AP281M5IB module (https://www.thisisant.com/resources/ant-ap2-transceiver-module-datasheet/) and an arduino uno.

I am following the wiring connections on this blog (http://digitalhacksblog.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html) which I have found posted on other questions on the forum here and also on the ant and antplus arduino libraries which I am attempting to use. (https://github.com/cujomalainey/antplus-arduino) (https://github.com/cujomalainey/ant-arduino)

I have read the bicycle power device profile and some of the ant message protocol and usage document but am struggling to understand how to implement this info into the code.

I have a bit of java and arduino experience but not much c/c++. I have tried using some of the examples provided in the library such as "bicycle speed display", "proximity search" and "search channels" with the public network key to connect the module to the pedals but am having no luck.

If anyone has any advice on a resource that might help me get them connected I would really appreciate it

Thanks

Hi MQ Speed Team,
Have you tried using SimulANT+ first, and ANTWare? Testing the pedals and your device against these tools is a good starting point - lets you know if something is wrong with the channel configuration.
Also try using the ANT+ Network Key.
