Hi,

We are working on bike power meter which communicates via ANT+ as well as BLE.

We noticed that when it is configured for ANT+ operations, it allows multiple displays(slaves) to connect to the sensor device (Master) whereas in BLE case, it allows only one connection at at time.

Is it possible to configure/implement the ANT channel to have the BLE like behavior (Only one connection at a time)?

Hi Malti,

It is possible to support this peer to peer topology with ANT, however the ANT+ profiles typically define a broadcast or star topology because it is beneficial to the use case.

In the case of bike power, the topology defined is a star. This enables use cases such as triathlon athletes with a bike computer and a watch both collecting or displaying power data.
