Good morning,
I have to do the certification for a Display device,
in the SimulANT+ scripts it asks me if fields are displayed, I created a test client to see the data exchanged via ant+, and they are the correct ones of the profile,
however, the data then shown on the final device is manipulated to obtain other values.
Is this a certification issue?

Using data as an input to something else is not a problem in and of itself.

However, if you don't present the more raw information such that the questions asked by the cert script can be answered, then that will be a problem. You may need to work with the ANT+ cert team to address this with an additional interface for certification such as a test application that provides information not normally presented to user. We have seen this before for example with a product that uses speed in an algorithm but doesn't ever show the user the speed.

As an interface for certification, could it be okay to connect a computer to the device via serial port and view a test app from a terminal? Running terminal commands to run tests.
If the tests are not successful, will the device that was shipped be sent back immediately or can a firmware update be sent to correct the problems for certification?

You will have to confirm with the certification team what they need to complete certification after submitting through https://www.thisisant.com/certRequest/v3.5/certForm.php with a description of your product.

You can send them new software to update for a retest if defects are found.

Is this test method accepted for the ANT+ certification of the device sent to the Garmin office?

Good morning,
if I create a ticket for certification and pay,
then how long do I have to send the device? is there a deadline?
Because in case of changes to be made, it could take time between payment and shipment of the device

You will need to coordinate with the certification team. You will be able to ask them all your questions after submitting and before paying.
