Hello everyone.

I’ve been considering upgrading my attic insulation, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the investment. I’ve heard it can drastically improve energy efficiency and lower heating and cooling costs, but how much of a difference does it actually make?

Has anyone here had a significant reduction in energy bills after installing attic insulation? I’d love to hear about your experience! Click here if you've tried it recently or have any insights. What are the main benefits, and how long does it take to see a return on investment?









     

Did it last winter, added 30 cm mineral wool. Heating bill dropped ~20%. Upstairs is warmer in winter, cooler in summer. Paid for itself in under 3 years. Big difference if your attic's poorly insulated. Just seal air leaks first or it won’t help much.
