Venmo transfer flagged and delayed

Sent a payment to a friend using Venmo, but it’s been marked “Flagged” for review and hasn’t completed after two days. I’ve confirmed my account is verified and checked the transaction details, yet the status remains frozen. I submitted my username, payment receipt, and a note via their help form but haven’t heard back. Has anyone managed to unfreeze a flagged Venmo transaction and finally seen it post? Which exact information moved Venmo’s team to clear the payment?

Here’s how I got mine unstuck: first, I noted my Venmo handle, the exact transaction ID, and the date/time stamp. Next, I captured a screenshot of the “Flagged” status on my activity feed. Then I sent all three elements in one message via the help form available via https://venmo.pissedconsumer.com/review.html , including my handle, the transaction reference, and the screenshot together with a brief explanation of the situation. Within twenty-four hours, Venmo support replied explaining a routine security hold, confirmed they had reviewed my account, and released the payment. Consolidating complete transaction context in a single submission unlocked a prompt and decisive resolution.
