Struggling to source reliable BMW spares across the UK?

I’ve recently started looking into affordable but reliable auto parts BMW owners in the UK can actually trust, and I’ve hit a bit of a wall. A couple of local garages here in Manchester quoted me prices that felt way too high, and even then, I wasn’t fully confident about whether the parts were genuine or simply cheap imports.

A mate of mine mentioned that buying usedauto parts bmw online could be a better option, especially when you’re working with tight budgets. But here’s my concern: how do you know if what you’re buying is actually roadworthy and not some low-grade copy? In London, I’ve noticed a few shops claiming to stock genuine BMW spares, but the reviews are all over the place.

I’m also wondering about delivery times. Let’s say you need a part quickly because your car is stuck in the garage, is it better to order online from a nationwide supplier or drive to breakers’ yards in places like Birmingham or Leeds?

For those of you who have been through this, what’s your go-to solution in the UK for sourcing BMW parts? Do you prefer local suppliers, or is online still the safest bet?
