Hey folks, I’ve got a quick question. My car’s been running fine, but lately I’ve noticed the gears sometimes shift a bit rough, especially in the morning. I remembered that I haven’t done any transmission service in a while — maybe like 40,000 miles or so. A friend once ignored his transmission maintenance, and it cost him a small fortune later on. Now I’m wondering, how often do you actually need to change the transmission fluid or check it? Some people say every 30k miles, others say just wait until there’s a problem. What’s your experience with this?

Regular transmission maintenance keeps the gears smooth and helps avoid major repairs. Ever since that visit, my car runs way better, and now I try not to skip those service intervals.
