For an e-commerce store selling mainly in the USA, is it always best to host the VPS in the U.S., or could hosting in nearby countries like Canada still deliver low latency?

For an e-commerce store targeting mainly the USA, hosting your VPS in the U.S. generally ensures the lowest latency and fastest load times for customers. However, hosting in nearby countries like Canada can still provide good performance due to proximity and strong network connections. The difference is usually minimal for most users, but U.S. servers remain optimal for peak speed. For reliable VPS options, find out more.

I host my store in Canada and still see excellent speed for U.S. customers. Latency is barely noticeable, especially when combined with a CDN for static content and images.

Canada works well, but for big sales events, a U.S.-based VPS can handle spikes better. Proximity really helps with checkout speed and real-time inventory updates.
