Hello,

Developing a smart light, we realize that the Garmin Edge is sending an OFF order during the first 5 minutes of the activity to every connected lights.
This order is send by the computer on his own, with no user interaction.

We saw this with Garmin Edge 830 and 840.
Lights used are under development Syncros lights and also Garmin Varia lights.
This is not happening 100% of the time.

Did you already experienced this, and do you plan a correction on this?

I am taking over from martinlemaireScott and would like to complement his previous comment.

It appears that on an Edge 840 under the firmware 19.22 it happens systematically.

The typical (non exhaustive) settings are the following:
-Light mode: individual
-Light beam activated: Timer start
-Auto mode (63 mode) for the lights
Maybe this helps to narrow down the phenomenon.
