I am trying to test signal from Garmin HR sensor. I have 2 versions of dynastream USB sticks: US1 and USB2
When USB1 is plugged in everything goes nicely and ANTWare reports heart rate
When USB2 is plugged ANTWare displays it's GUI for a little while searching for device and then disappears without a trace from the screen and from task manager as well.

There are two things to check.

1) Ensure the latest version of the ANT-USB drive is installed in the PC, the driver can be downloading from http://www.thisisant.com/pages/products/usb-stick

2) To check the device manager and ensure the PID/VID to be the same as ours (see the attached screen captures):

Control Panel->System->Device Manager->Universal Serial Bus Controllers->ANT USB Stick->Details

Try these and please let me know if you have any other questions.

Well I managed to make it work. Basically I unplugged stick, started ANTware II then plugged the stick back and from there everything was normal. Now I can start ANTware II without unplugging stick. Your "Ant+ Verification Tool" did not have this problem.

Funny thing is that in device manager device shows as following:

KP_PC
|
+--Atmel LibUSB-Win32 Devices
|
+--- ANT USB Stick2

I tried upgrading driver using "have disk" option and pointing
to the directory with drivers downloaded from your site but
it still shows under Atmel LibUSB-Win32 Devices rather then just LibUSB-Win32 Devices

Hello,
I have a comparable problem on Win XP.
I just installed the latest version of ANTWareII. I also insatalled the current USB driver for the ANT USB2 stick.
But the ANTWareII program does not start. It shows always a message like "ANTware_II has encountered a problem and must be ended"
What can be the problem?

thanks for any help.

Best regards,
Christoph

ANTwareII requires the .NET framework, version 3.5SP1, available from Microsoft here
