Some adviced method for L/R power meter

I'm developing a L/R power meter , and i have some doubt.

1)I trasmit Left power to Right crank for L/R % computing
with a different Frequency and a special Network key supplied
by ANT.This is Ok .

But my question is : how can i PAIR only the right Left crank
with my Right crank in a group (a lot of contemporary power on
devices) to avoid a wrong pairing with another device ?
Is there any secure way to pair only a determinated crank with
a specific code ?
I never read about something like - Pair with - command or i'm wrong ?

2)The same question for the Reading device (ie Edge or similar). The pairing is guaranteed with the first device paired every power on , or there is some pairing method to be actuated ?

3)For battery level. How can i communicate both battery level
if i have only a single page (82) regarding only ONE battery ?

Thanks

for pairing refer to the AN02 device pairing application note

http://www.thisisant.com/pages/developer-zone/ant-application-notes

we are developing a solution regarding reporting battery level... stay tuned for a common pages document update.

Yes , i read carefully the application note , but still remain
some doubts.

Is the pairing process based mainly on proximity range ?

If i have two person with the same device id in a very short range
(i.e. at the start of every bike race ) is not possible i pair
with the closer one ? (I'm talking about right to left crank and also right crank to ciclocomputer pairing).

Can i use device id as a sub-serial number for pairing with a determinated unique device ? I read device id is managed by manufacturer without limitations , but i dont'know if there is some limitation in use ...

Thanks

You don't typicaly pair every use normaly only once between the reciver and the transmiter. Once paired you remember the settings and use them next time rather than doing a wildcard search. Thus you can normaly arrange to do the pairing process when there is only one target close by and it's straight forward. If you know there will be other devices about at pairing time then you need more sophistication e.g. using the pairing bit. Using a proximity search etc.

Thanks a lot , now things seems to be ok with pairing.

If I can , i have another question about calibration .
As for battery i don't find any differentiate calibration
command for right & left crank.
Actually I re-send ("bridge") the calibration request from right to left , but for feedback values i have to flip values once for the right , once for left.

Is there any upgrade in progress for this ?

Thank again.
