Hi Forks,
I want to add some fields into Record section in the Fit Format.
So, I modify the config.csv's Record message session and add fields and types.
However, when executing the FitGen.exe it report the a warning said it could not find the field I just add in message record. (FitGen will also clear the field I add, why ?)
Does anybody know how to solve this problem ?

Hi Tony,

In order to maintain interoperability you shouldn't modify FIT existing messages like Record but you can always define manufacturer specific messages to suit your needs. If you have a suggestion you think has merit to the FIT community you can submit it to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) for consideration.

If you post or PM your config.csv I might be able to tell why its not generating for you.

Thanks for your information. I just fixed the encode problem then the decode parts is work now.
What I want to do is trying to put some function for coaching analysis during the exercise and after exercise.
So, I have to put some information generated by our algorithm.
