hi all!
in a 1st step i would like to read raw heart rate date within ANTware ii
and later in a 2nd step i want to automize receiving and displaying the heart rate within vb net.
please help building up a connection between:
garmin hrm 3-ss ant+ and
ANT+ USB Stick 2 by dynastream
via ANTwareii v.4.1
after starting ANTware ii, the ANT+ USB Stick is visible as device A in the list of available devices.
but after opening the channel, the channel gets closed after reaching the rx search timeout event.
i've read the ANT+ device profile for heart rate monitors and i tried several parameter combinations without success
i tried:
the ANT+ network key and the Public network key in combination with:
device A, channel assignment: slave (receive)
channel id: 0, 0, 0, no pairing (device#, device type, transmission type)
channel id: 0, 120, 0, no pairing (device#, device type, transmission type)
channel period: 8070
radio frequency: 2457 Mhz
search timeout: 15*2.5s = 37.5s
the update of the parameters was confirmed by ANTware ii inside the channel feedback display area and inside the device feedback display area.
software and hardware:
- os win7
- newly bought garmin hrm 3-ss ant+; i checked the battery, it is fine;
(i do not have a receiver watch);
- newly bought ANT+ USB Stick 2 by dynastream;
according to the device manager the device is working properly;
ANT USB Stick 2 driver version 1.2.40.201, driver date 4/11/2012
